The Research Experience and Applied Learning (REAL) Portal is currently under a major revamp, with the new REAL Portal expected to launch in Fall 2025.

The Experiential Learning team within the Teaching and Learning Commons aims to make "learning by doing" more accessible at UC San Diego. Our team focuses on building bridges between 1) theory and practice 2) college experiences and career opportunities and 3) academics and co-curricular experiences. While we have signature programs and tools, we also hope to elevate experiential learning opportunities across campus.
