Anticipated Maintenance

The REAL (Research Experience and Applied Learning) Portal is currently under a major revamp beginning June 30, 2025, and will be unavailable as the update takes place. The new REAL Portal is expected to launch in Fall 2025. With an updated interface, the update should provide one location for experiential learning (EL) opportunities such as research, internships, service-learning, and on-campus jobs. This should make it easier for students to discover, enroll in, and track those EL opportunities.

For Students: We encourage you to utilize the Academic Internship Program InternLink or to look for opportunities through Handshake.

For Supervisors: If you are seeking an alternative to the REAL Portal to post your opportunity, you can access the employer version of InternLink or Handshake.

The REAL (Research Experience and Applied Learning) Portal offers research, internship, international, service learning, entrepreneurial, leadership, and other co-curricular opportunities that help students build real-world skills and apply knowledge gained in the classroom.
