The Teaching and Learning Commons has partnered with the Student Employment Office (SEO) to ensure that all on-campus student positions are on the Co-Curricular Record (CCR).
The 3 main goals of the project are to:
Collect and verify all current student positions in each department
The main focus is on paid student employment positions.
We are also looking at internships, volunteer positions, graduate, positions, and any other work that students are doing in the departments that does not count for academic credit.
Collect the information needed to add each position to the CCR Catalog
A mass import template will be used for this project since departments often need to add multiple positions.
The project team will connect with new validators to offer training sessions and drop-in hours for the CCR validation process.
Marketing materials and templates will be shared to help engage student employees on the CCR.
Please note that all UCSD staff and faculty members are able to log into REAL Portal with their SSO credentials. Email us at elt@ucsd.edu if you encounter access issues.

Once the interest form is submitted:
The project team will send an email with an exported list from Handshake of current student employment positions for your department.
Please confirm via email if that list is up to date, or if any positions need to be removed, renamed, or added.
If requested, meet with the project team to get questions answered or review the CCR import template for your positions to be added to the CCR Catalog.
Once your department's positions have been added to the catalog, we'll follow up via email so you can verify that everything is listed correctly.
CCR admin team will share opportunities for new Validators and People Leaders to receive validation training, as well as resources to engage your students on the CCR.
