Professionalism/Integrity

Demonstrates integrity, honesty, dependability and ethical responsibility, and accepts direction and personal accountability.

A select list of activities (with descriptions) in the CCR that are associated with the Professionalism/Integrity competency:

  • UC San Diego Student Foundation President (Alumni & Community Engagement)
    • Led the Student Foundation Trustees in completing the mission and goals of the foundation, including the execution of quarterly programming and the allocation of scholarship funds. Serve as a resource to staff in Alumni Affairs and the campus community for student philanthropy opportunities and represent the Student Foundation at UC San Diego Foundation and UC San Diego Alumni Association Board meetings.
  • LinkedIn Champion (LinkedIn Champions Program, Career Center)
    • Attended weekly meetings filled with workshops and networking experiences, worked on various tasks meant to improve on their professional development, conducted a project of their choice that incorporated LinkedIn and is related to their field of interest, and presented their project during the end of the program.
  • AIP Peer Advisor (Academic Internship Program, Teaching and Learning Commons)
    • Provided peer advising and outreach to support undergraduate students pursuing experiential opportunities through the Academic Internship Program.
  • Mentor/Tutor (Embedded Writing Mentor Program, Analytical Writing Program)
    • Facilitated individual writing strategy and writing process conversations utilizing training skills refined by research.
