AIP Course Assignments
Once enrolled in your respective AIP course, students complete the same general assignments. More detailed information is available in the Canvas course page, which you are encouraged to review for information related to how the course is graded as well.
Assignments during the course are designed to encourage self-reflection and position students to expand their professional network.
Summary of Assignments
- Report and track internship hours each week in InternLink - Required to confirm participation and meeting the minimum hours requirement.
- Mid-quarter Reflection - Provides students a chance to reflect on how their internship experience has impacted them to that point and what areas they would be interested in exploring for further growth.
- Informational Interview/Career Conversation - Provides students an opportunity to learn from the experience and advice of someone in the field, connecting with someone at the internship site while strengthening your professional network.
- AIP Self and Program Evaluation - Provides students a chance to reflect on their internship experience as a whole and provide feedback about the AIP program itself.
- Final Deliverable - The final deliverable should be developed with the Faculty Advisor. General guidelines for the final deliverable are available, but specific parameters are determined with the Faculty Advisor to establish the standard for a passing grade for the AIP course. If any changes or adjustments to the final deliverable arise as the internship progresses, these should be discussed with your Faculty Advisor.
- Students will need to submit the final deliverable to both the Faculty Advisor (via their preferred method of receipt) and to AIP (via the Canvas course page).
